Bob Cordemeyer
Bob Cordemeyer, initial founder of Cordemeyer & Slager / Advocaten, has extensive experience as an IT law attorney and advises and assists clients with a wide range of large national and cross-border IT contracts.
Bob further specializes in privacy law and advises large enterprises on data processing, including within the healthcare sector. He represents the Netherlands in the INPLP (International Network of Privacy Law Professionals) and has an extensive network of privacy specialists worldwide, in which he actively participates.
Bob has extensive litigation experience in IT disputes, often involving failed IT projects, and a strong track record in resolving disputes amicably through negotiation or mediation. He is affiliated with the SGOA (Stichting Geschillenoplossing Automatisering; www.sgoa.eu) as a mediator and arbitrator.
Bob graduated in civil law from Utrecht University. He is the founder of Cordemeyer & Slager. Prior to that, he worked as an attorney at Nauta van Haersolte (now NautaDutilh). He began his career at the former AMRO Bank, where he completed the general banking program for academics.
Bob is a member of the Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law Attorneys (VIRA) and of the international specialist network ITechLaw. He is also a member of the Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR) and represents the firm in the international network International Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers (IGAL).
Bob Cordemeyer is registered in the legal practice areas register of the Netherlands Bar Association for the following principal (and sub-) areas of law: Information Law (IT law) and Privacy Law. Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten continuing education credits each calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association for each registered principal area of law.
