Working Student

Have you already gained experience within the legal profession (for example as a student intern) and are you looking for a longer and more intensive practical experience at a law firm specialized in IT? Then a working student position at Cordemeyer & Slager / Advocaten is something for you.

We have an opening for a working student who is in the Master’s phase of Dutch law and wants to get acquainted with the daily IT law practice at our firm. During the working student position, you will be a full member of our team and contribute to ongoing cases, working closely with our lawyers. As a working student, you will collaborate on case files, be involved in meetings with clients, and draft memoranda and other documents.

Who are you?

We are looking for ambitious students with a strong interest in IT law. Work experience in IT law is an advantage, but not a requirement. We are also looking for someone who is not afraid to ask questions, has a hands-on mentality, is curious, proactive and down-to-earth, and has a healthy sense of humor.

Who are we?

We are a close-knit, young, and ambitious team based in Amsterdam. C&S has existed for over 35 years as a niche firm in IT — a sector that fascinates and inspires us, and in which we make a difference. C&S is characterized by long-term relationships with its clients and straightforward advice. Our clients include both international and national companies, ranging from startups to large SMEs. Our lawyers specialize in IT law, IT procurement law, privacy law, intellectual property law, employment law, and corporate law, and we also regularly collaborate with a flexible network of external legal professionals.

We think it’s important that you enjoy your time with us, which is why we value a friendly atmosphere and informal setting, and regularly organize drinks and social outings.

Excited?

A working student position at C&S offers you a unique opportunity to experience what it is like to work in our dynamic team. Moreover, there is the possibility that your working student position may lead to an appointment as a lawyer.

Are you the working student we are looking for? Then email your cover letter, CV, and transcript of grades to Bas Hochstenbach.
